This is a testimony
that gives a glimpse into the magnitude of impact that takes place at this
Annual Event for Women: “This Retreat is what I look forward to,
more than any other event on my calendar because it has dramatically
changed my life. No other event has ever lifted my hopes or assured me
of the Father's touch on my life like this one does. Not only is the
weekend alive with joy and hope as I encounter the Father’s love in a
greater dimension, but what happens in my life while I am there always
becomes an amazing transformation that affects me and changes me
throughout the following year. I long to see new women discover this
chance to come away with the Lord to such an exquisitely beautiful place
of refuge and peace. For the rich times of fellowship with one another
and with the Father that we will experience there beginning September 17
is a taste of heaven on earth. Since the 2009 Retreat, I have been
attending Lighthouse of Hope Gatherings and have witnessed incredible
moves of God in our midst, each one more breathtaking than the last. So
as we approach the 2010 Retreat, I can’t begin to imagine what amazing
things the Lord has in store for us and I can hardly wait to find out!

Ruth is teaching an Annual Women’s Course to help people grow in understanding how the Father longs to use them for His glorious purposes for their lives. The meetings are in Lynnwood. This is an amazing testimony that captures what the Lord is doing that is profoundly affecting the lives of women during this Course: “There was such an air of excitement and expectation as the women arrived. Many even came from great distances. The impact of what each person shared at the beginning of the meeting about why they wanted to be there was stunningly profound. The teaching was powerfully riveting and was shared with incredibly transparent honesty. The impact was visible on the faces. The genuine love and encouragement demonstrated among those present was as deep as I’ve ever experienced. As I listened to women share their hearts with such vulnerable honesty and transparency, and testify to the radical impact of the ministry and teaching on their lives, I was overcome with immense awe at what the Lord is doing in the Lighthouse of Hope Women’s Course! It defies words. You have to be there to see the radiant countenances and hear the humble, broken testimonies. Words are inadequate to describe the immensity and intensity of what takes place. What I do know is that those who come to these gatherings for women, including me, always go home changed forever.”
